Rivers and streams

Further information on river basin management, EU Water Framework Directive implementation and methods to reduce contaminated runoff from farming, roads, etc. is available via the Diffuse pollution and SUDS (created wetlands) pages. These include information on, for instance, reducing grazing impacts, silt traps, and tools to assess diffuse pollution from agriculture as well as managing rivers and their catchments to reduce flooding.
